My Story

I’m Cody Gilbert — born and raised in Taylorsville, North Carolina. My earliest influence was my parents, who taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. Those lessons stuck with me through every season of life.

My first spark for videography came in 2018 when I bought a GoPro and started filming reels for Instagram, documenting my life as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry on my account @officialdirtgang. Over time, my skills grew, my gear upgraded, and my creativity began to flow freely.

Friends and family encouraged me for years to turn my passion into something bigger, and in 2025, I took that leap of faith — launching Even Flow Media Co.

Today, I’m working hard to connect with local businesses, brands, and communities, offering creative, cinematic content that tells their stories. More than anything, I’m just following the path the Good Lord sets before me — one project at a time.
